Description

I set up this camera as an after thought. I really wanted to, and still plan on, a timelapse to see the night's automation.

I came down once to check a "malfunction" (I left the cap on!) hence the red light ..its actually much darker this frame suggests. Otherwise I had 4 setups running fully automated on a total of 7 targets...and it all worked!  There were a couple more scopes, a solar I left in the yard, and another I used to catch a visual of Jupiter.

Crazy excess to have 4 imaging setups running, but once set up, which they have been for the summer, and now with automation, they pretty much run themselves. It has required a better organization of all the data, but what  problem to have. The focal lengths run from 320mm to 1440mm.

The rains will start soon, and the smoke once again looms on the horizon, but even if the 9 months of clouds come again in I've got data to last me into 2023!

Taken with a 6mm fisheye ( my yard really isn't that curved!).  900x30s subs.
